Admittedly, I've never read the Nightwing regular series so I had no idea that when Wizkids announced Blockbuster, he'd be a 10-foot dude in a suit. I expected the Hulk-clone I remembered from the DC miniseries Legends.

When I read that the Blockbuster Rookie was intended to BE the original Blockbuster, I knew I had to make a figure that reflected that look. And since Blockbuster was always a DC version of the Hulk, I decided what better figure to base it on than the Infinity Challenge version of the Green Goliath.

Blockbuster is one of my most recent mods. Using an IC Hulk, I shaved off his hair and nose and re-sculpted both out of Green/Brown Stuff. Additionally, I re-positioned his arms and sculpted new "t-shirt" tears. Finally, I put him in sandals sculpted out of G/B Stuff. He was the first figure I painted using Reaper's new Professional paints and using the technique of showing black primer through. I'm VERY satisfied with the results and really excited how he came out.
