ROOKIE

My rookie Captain Britain was created by taking a Brainiac 13 figure, shaving the monkey of its shoulder and re-sculpting the right arm with some Green Stuff. I drilled out his left hand to insert a piece of wire, then sculpted his staff around it. A repaint later, and I had the rookie version of Captain Britain! I purposly chose a figure with a slighter build than the later versions to better reflect Cap's youth during this time period.

My veteran Captain Britain is a simple repaint of the Wizkids Captain Britain figure. I sanded down all the detail so the sculpt was smooth, then painted the costume on.

After completing the other two versions of the good Captain, the WizKids painted version looked a little drab. So I stripped the thick WizKids paint, black primered and painted the figure using Games Workshop paints.
