My first exposure to the X-Men was the miniseries Secret Wars. I was fascinated instantly by the international flavor of the mutant team. Easily, my favorite was the Russian strongman, Colossus.

This version of Colossus was inspired by the costume he wore during John Romita, Jr.'s run on the Uncanny X-Men title, as well as his appearance in in the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe - Deluxe Edition.

Colossus was my first mod that involved extensive use of Green Stuff. His thighs, shoulders, boots, gloves and torso covering were all sculpted over a stripped and sanded Ultimates Colossus frame. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with how he came out, though I know I could now do a much better paint job.
