I was really excited when WizKids announced they were giving Alpha Flight some love in Mutant Mayhem. The Flight was my favorite Marvel team book after Avengers when I was growing up. Then, I actually saw the figures...first, they picked the UGLIEST costume for Northstar, and then, they made my boy Sasquatch nearly the same size as Puck!

Interestingly, in the same set, they released Man-Thing with a body shape very reminiscent to how I remembered Sasquatch being drawn by John Byrne, the creator and definitive Flight artist.

So, using the original WizKids Sasquatch figure's head and feet, I carved up a Man-Thing, sanding down all of the extra bits and sculpting a LOT of extra hair and pectorial area with my usual Green/Brown Stuff blend. Then I painted it in layers using Reaper paints to get the results seen here. Overall, I'm EXTREMELY pleased with the results.
