My first exposure to DC Comics were two books, Blue Devil and Crisis on Infinite Earths. (I know, what an introduction, right?)

In Crisis, one of the first characters that really caught my interest was Wildfire. That helmet, the energy exhaust, his costume...George Perez was at his finest.

I'm not a big Legion fan, but Wildfire always stuck with me. Needless to say, I was really excited to hear Wizkids was including Wildfire in Legacy. However, I was pretty disappointed when I saw the sculpt. Not that it wasn't good...it just wasn't...Wildfire. At least to me.

I built this Rookie version for my local Comic Shop owner (hey Ben at Empire's Comic Vault!), a huge Legion fan and all around nice guy, but I plan to make one for myself soon.

I built this Wildfire using a Northstar figure with a Kree head and quite a bit of Green/Brown Stuff sculpting. I painted him using Reaper paints, as usual.
